Nutrition Counseling at Hudson Valley Hospital Center
Nutrition Counseling is not about dieting. It is about changing your habits to enhance the quality of
your life. Patients learn these habits through one-on-one, focused sessions with a Registered Dietitian (RD).
RDs are nutrition experts who are trained in the scientific principles of nutrition and weight
management. The RDs at HVHC provide practical approaches to help individuals translate the science
of nutrition & develop skills that they can apply to daily living such as:
- Nutrition education for the management of chronic disease
- Analysis of diet and food intake
