Hudson Valley Hospital Center Honored by Forbes Magazine at Forbes® Enterprise Awards

New York, NY – Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY, was the winner of the 2006 Forbes® Enterprise Awards in the hospital category for innovative ideas in the field of healthcare. The hospital was the sole winner in that category.

At a luncheon reception at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan, 75 winning organizations from a variety of industries in and around the region, were chosen from thousands of entrants by a panel of business leaders who were part of a rigorous judging process.

Hudson Valley Hospital Center was recognized for their visionary practices and achievements. The award was based on various criteria, including: product or service innovation, customer relations, community involvement, employee development and support, and marketing or other efforts that lead to a business’s growth.

Hudson Valley Hospital Center was also the recent recipient of Press Ganey’s “2006 Success Stories Award” for employee satisfaction.
